Spring Term 2024 Rehearsals
Our spring term rehearsals started on Monday 15th January. If you are interested in joining the choir, then come along any Monday at 7.30pm and sing with us for a couple of rehearsals to see if you like us.
News
For our ‘Gloria!’ Christmas concert, we returned once again to City Church on Cheddars Lane. The audience enjoyed a performance of season songs and carols, including John Rutter’s ‘All bells in paradise’ and ‘Candlelight carol’, the lovely ‘White Christmas’, the jolly ‘Jingle bells’ and some great traditional carols . In addition, our very own in-house poet, Ian Whybrow, provided two poems for the event, which were recited by himself and fellow choir member Margaret Ingram. Many thanks to all who so generously gave to the charity the Ian supports.
